Beskrivelse
Boost Me (for free) If you enjoy my designs, you can support my work with a boost! Boost Bring a touch of Japanese elegance to your garden with this beautiful bird feeder. Display it freestanding on a flat surface, mount it on a pole, or hang it from a hook or tree branch to create the perfect feeding spot for your feathered visitors. This bird feeder is completely 3D printed and designed for easy assembly with snap-fit parts. For the best long-term strength and durability, I strongly recommend gluing all parts together after assembly. There are two native sizes available. Large: Roof Width: ~23 cm Height: ~35 cm Filament usage: ~800g (House only) Small (A1 Mini Compatible) Roof Width: ~17 cm Height: ~26 cm Filament usage: ~400g (House only) You can scale this design to any size you like, but keep in mind you will need to modify the pole mounts if you want to use them. Mounting There are three ways to use this bird feeder. Place it on any flat surface, mount it on a pole, or print the optional hanging roof to suspend it from a tree branch or hook. For pole mounting, adapters are included for pole diameters from 20 to 30 mm which simply screw into the bottom of the bird feeder. For the best fit, choose an adapter that is slightly larger than your pole and secure it with a wood screw. For example, if your pole has a diameter of 25 mm, use the 26 mm adapter. Each adapter features a ~6 mm mounting hole. Printing The provided profiles were tested with Bambu Lab PLA. Because of the large size of this print, other brands filaments might require changes to the build plate temperature or cooling settings to avoid warping. I also added modifiers to strengthen the rods and hanger ring. Make sure to use them if you want to slice the files yourself. I also recommend using some manual supports at the bottom of the base to help with the bridging. Assembly Assembly is quick and easy. Simply snap the upper roof onto the four pillars of the base, taking care not to bend the pillars during installation. Then snap the top roof onto the lower roof. For the best results, I strongly recommend applying glue to all snap-fit connectors before assembly. This ensures a strong, permanent bond. While the feeder can be assembled without glue, it is not designed for frequent disassembly, as the snap-fit connectors may break if forced apart.
