Two vases carry continuous vertical ribs in mirrored directions, left and right. The other two repeat the pattern with one rib deliberately removed — a small gap that breaks the rhythm and gives the eye somewhere to rest. The name comes from ma (間), the Japanese concept of negative space — the pause between sounds, the gap between objects, the absence that gives shape to what surrounds it. Where the Sazanami Series leans Japandi with its calm repetition, Ma sits closer to wabi-sabi, finding beauty in asymmetry and the intentional imperfection of a single missing line. Each vase measures 117 × 117 × 250mm tall, sized to fit the Bambu P1S, P2S, and A1 build volumes. The interior accepts the IKEA CYLINDER glass vase (23cm × 10cm) as a drop-in liner, making the vase fully watertight for fresh flowers without coatings or treatments.
