Meet Plica, a soap dish that challenges expectations by blending rigid functionality with the soft, flowing aesthetic of textiles. The upper rim features highly detailed, gathered folds that mimic the comforting texture of ruched fabric or a pillowy cushion. This structural illusion transforms a simple everyday object into a striking, tactile centerpiece for your countertop—proving that functional utility can coexist with organic softness. Plica is engineered around an intelligent, three-piece modular construction that makes maintenance completely effortless. The design consists of a soft-looking outer ring, a crisp drainage grid, and a solid base tray. Assembly is purely mechanical and intuitive: the grid simply slides from underneath into the upper ring, which then sits securely atop the base. This clever nesting logic means the entire top section can be lifted off in one movement, allowing you to empty collected water or clean the components in seconds. A Canvas for Color Contrast Beyond its easy maintenance, the three-part architecture of Plica serves as the ultimate playground for filament experimentation.
