Christmas christmas ornament kit card NO AMS

Beskrivelse

This kit card lets you build your very own winter scene. Easy assembly, perfect for last minute gifts or activities, and best of all, no AMS needed! ❄️ No AMS required (see below for more information) ❄️ Easy tab-and-slot assembly ❄️ Interchangeable decorative elements ❄️ Customizable message plate ❄️ Print with or without frame ⚠️ IMPORTANT⚠️ Despite what the Prepare tab shows in Studio or the “preview” thumbnail through Handy, it WILL change colour to white at layer 8. This is because the profiles use a special slicer command and not the paint bucket. There is no need to paint this file. See the section on Multi-colour printing for more information. 📋 Before Printing Contains very small parts which can be a choking hazard or difficult for little fingers to assemble. Ages 7+ with supervision. Flush cutters or sharp pointed scissors recommended. For best results, remove parts from the frame using a cutting tool. It is quicker, safer, and less damaging to both the parts and your fingers. Please do not batch print unless you’ve printed the test first. Differences in printers and filament choice may cause parts to be either too loose or too tight. ✏️ Customizable Text The message plate text can be changed to suit your needs. You will need to download it into Bambu Studio (not Handy) to change it there. If you've never done it before, this video is a good all-round primer on how to do it or you can follow these steps: Download the RAW .3mf and open in Bambu Studio Switch to the Objects tab. In the list, find the plate for the fit size you want (regular, looser, tighter) Right-click “CUSTOM TEXT” then select “Edit Text.” The Text editing window will open up under the toolbar. Type in your new text and (optionally) choose your font. If you need to reposition the text shape, use the Move tool in the toolbar to do it. Preview the model by slicing the plate. Check that your text is legible. If it's not, then you will need to repeat the steps above until you find a good combination that results in text that prints well. Just remember that if it doesn't look good on the Preview screen, it won't print any better. Once you're satisfied with your changes, proceed to print the file as per usual. 🎨 Multi-colour Printing (with or without an AMS) The two-colour effect in this ornament is accomplished by using a special command to change the filament colour at layer 8. The command is different depending on your set-up so be sure to pick the profile that matches what you have/don't have. No AMS → Printer will pause at layer 8 and wait for you to change the filament. If you've never done this before, this video is a quick primer on how to do it. AMS → No need to do anything special other than ensure your filament is loaded into your AMS in the appropriate slots. Note, this colour change command can only be see on the Preview tab in Studio. Handy users will see a solid colour in the thumbnails but it WILL change colour. There is no need to paint this model unless you want more than 2 colours. 🧰 Fit & calibration (Too tight or too loose) 💡 How well a kit card fits together depends heavily on your machine, filament brand, and filament type/colour. Together, these variables affect flow rate: too much and parts fit tightly, too little and they fit loosely. Because there are endless combinations, no designer can guarantee a one-size-fits-all perfect fit. I do my best to make models that assemble smoothly across a range of filaments, but sometimes tuning by the end-user (that’s you) may be required. Start with a baseline: Ensure your filament is calibrated. Dynamic Flow and Flow rate are both responsible for how much filament comes out of the nozzle. If they aren’t calibrated correctly, you will either have under-extrusion (not enough) over over extrusion (too much). Print the Size Test first: This is the quickest way to find the right fit for your printer and filament. Test the deer in each slot and pick the one that provides the best fit. Alternate
