Minecraft-Inspired Friendship Sword – Designed by an 11-Year-Old! 🧊 Description This isn't your average Minecraft sword! Designed by my 11-year-old son, this sword brings the blocky style of the game into the real world with a fun twist: it’s a friendship sword — one sword, split into two! Share it with a friend or display both halves together. The sword features raised pixel details for an authentic look and uses three filaments: Black for the outline Brown for the handle Cyan for the blade The design prints in two interlocking pieces, which connect securely with magnets or dowels, depending on which version you choose. 🔧 Key Features ✨ Designed by an 11-year-old Minecraft fan 🧲 Magnet Version: Prints with a pause at layer 46 for inserting 8x 8x3mm magnets (4 per side) 🪵 Non-Magnet Version: Uses alignment dowels for secure glue-together assembly 📏 Featuring a inlet on both sides to attach a keyright or string for hanging. 🎮 Raised detailing on both sides 🧵 Multi-filament print using Bambu Studio’s AMS (Black / Brown / Cyan) 📦 What’s Included Two print profiles: 🧲 Magnet-Ready with Pause at Layer 46 🪵 Dowel Assembly with dual-sided detailing 🧲 Plate #2 features a test housing for the magnets. 🔩 Assembly & Printing Tips Magnet Version: Pause happens automatically at Layer 46 — insert 4x 8x3mm magnets per half (pay attention to polarity!) We use this model to help keeping the polarity correct. Watch to make sure the magnets don't pop out! Dowel Version: Use 3mm or 4mm filament scraps as alignment pegs. Glue halves together with superglue. Print slow and steady around the pause layer to avoid issues with bed adhesion. 🧒 About the Designer This project was created by an imaginative 11-year-old Minecraft enthusiast who wanted to make something cool to share with friends.
