Infinity Portal Helix Illusion Features: A fun illusion to mess with your brain, this trick makes it appear like the helix is endlessly disappearing into the top. Separated into parts for easy support free printing. Simple push fit assembly. It can be printing on 1 A1 Mini build plate. A great conversation piece that looks interesting from any angle. Assembly: Insert all of the legs into the base (the base has ‘Z-3D’ debossed into the underside) insert the helix into the centre pin located on the base. Place the slide over the helix and let it drop to the bottom. Push the top onto the legs whilst lining up the centre pin and corresponding hole. Usage: Grip the slide and move it up. Let go of the slide so it falls back to the bottom. Repeat. Extra Info: You can also hold the slide and move it up and down to make the helix appear to move in both directions. The illusion works best if you look at the model straight on. Different colour combinations can make the effect stronger. Colour the top blue and the bottom orange to simulate an infinite portal (A nod to ‘Portal’ the game series) Boost Me (for free) If you like this design, please consider giving it a boost.
