I worked as a telecoms engineer installing electromechanical/electronic Telephone Exchanges. I have always had an interest in clocks especially electromechanical and digital types. Just before I retired I purchased my 3D printer and soon started using it to build parts to upgrade the interface and add controls. While I am not an expert I am slowly learning how to design and print more and more complex parts.
